When Cruise Trips Go Bad

You just booked your cruise ship tours and only have little idea what goes on, around or inside the ship. You may be the type to just let go and experience everything new first hand so you did not bother to look and see what was listed in your itinerary. While on board the cruise ship, you noticed a few things, (if you're lucky) or a lot of them that has bothered you. Sometimes it has left you thinking whether you have booked the right cruise ship or not. But the worst is that you are stuck with these problems for the duration of the trip.

Rather than waiting for the whole cruise trip to end and you ending up disappointed, you should reach out to the staff of the cruise ship and explain your situation to them. For example the cabin you booked seemed rather noisy during evenings and you cannot get your good night's sleep, you should report this to the guest relations right in the receptions desk. They will be providing you with assistance as long as you need it and may even approve your request to switch to a quieter place within the ship.

One of the problems that a few passengers of a ship feel is getting motion sickness. There is good news for passengers or guests prone to sea sickness. The good news is that you can avoid getting motion sickness before you booked your itinerary. The place where there less motion than the rest of the ship is at the center while the edges are prone to swaying. If you have already booked your itinerary and ended up in the edges, pack up some OTC antihistamine drugs like Bonine. This will help keep your motion sickness from getting to your head. If you start feeling off eat some pretzels, crackers or bread then wash down with a glass of ginger ale. Get some good fresh air at mid-ship where you feel less motion while looking at the horizon.

If your cruise ship is generally very boring, you should step outside your cabin and get out there to meet new people or socialize. If this does not please you, look for some activities in the ship that will keep you occupied or you may find it fun to do things, like cruising the engine room or the deck of the ship or taking cooking classes. Spas are also offered in most cruise ships or even gyms to get some exercise.
