One of the things that can affect your entire travel trip is when you leave something out from your plans. Even if it is just a small fraction of the whole plan, it can be a contributor to a huge mess. It is important that you plan out your trip carefully before you execute it, otherwise you may end up spending the entire time of your trip on a hospital bed or just be left by your plane because you forgot your papers.
- When you are on board the plane, do not expect the stewards or stewardess to cater to your every whim. Pack everything that you need that you think you can use while the plane is in the air before it touches down on the tarmac such as your headphones, pillows or blankets. Do not forget also to pack up some light snacks which you can enjoy eating while on the trip. International flights are especially long so do bring something extra with you if you do not want to feel bored in the middle of a long flight.
- If there is a certain ingredient in the food that you are allergic to, by all means avoid it. If you are in a place where their native language is something that you barely understand or do not have any knowledge at all, make sure that you know their equivalent to your language and see if the food that you have chosen has something that you are allergic to. If you are a bit fluent to their language, use this to your advantage and inform the people around you of your allergies. You can also prepare anti-allergy medicines and bring them along with your during your trip.
- There are certain countries in which tipping is not allowed while others have certain percentages that you should have it prepared before you leave the cafe, restaurant, etc. Do a thorough research on this subject and be prepared once you get there.
You have two choices in planning your trip - either online or through a travel agency. If you are the type to go on an unpredicted adventure, planning your own itinerary is your choice. If you do not like being left isolated at your destination and want some tour guides to travel with you, your travel agency is your choice. It really depends on which option is comfortable for you.
