Prior to travelling, it is a must for travelers to prepare for all the necessary things needed for every travel. This does not only involve travel documents only but other things that are really important that you may have difficulty going back if you forget to prepare for it.
- The weather in Spain - since there are different seasons in Spain, the locals wear clothes fit for that season. Those living near and in the coast do not necessarily need to wear thick clothes to keep warm but those in the inner lands need to dress up according to season. Summers are really hot while winters are really cold. Generally the Spanish people do not dress up too much when going out of their house but this depends on occasions.
- Schedules of open shops - generally, business hours in Spain are every Mondays to Saturdays from 9:30 in the morning until 1:30 in the afternoon; 4:30 in the afternoon until 8 in the evening. For major department stores and shopping malls, store hours opens all day from ten in the morning until nine or ten in the evening. On a couple of Sundays in the year shopping malls and department stores are open. During high season, most establishments are open until ten in the evening around the coastal areas. Those in the other cities have unregulated opening hours, so this provides more shopping opportunities to locals and visitors.
- Meals are served accordingly in Spain. Breakfast is served from 8 up to 10 in the morning. In restaurants, lunch is served at 1 to 3:30 in the afternoon while dinner is served at 8:30 to 11:30 in the evening. Some food establishments are open throughout the night, particularly cafeterias and bars. In these establishments you can get combo meals, appetizers and tapas. Cinemas have flexible hours which starts from 4:30 to 5 in the afternoon. Last showing in cinemas is around ten in the evening although some cinemas, especially in major cities that have shows all the way through midnight. Theaters have single shows which usually starts around eight in the evening. Night time is a special, different time in the country, particularly between Thursdays to Sundays. Nightclubs, bars and pubs stay open until 3 or 4 at dawn. The same is said with those in major cities.
