Mexico is a nation that almost everyone should attempt to visit at some point in their life. Full of fun, excitement, beaches, and fiestas, Mexico has become a leading tourist destination. Just as you should do in travelling to any other country, you would also be wise to learn the ins and outs of travelling to Mexico prior to your departure to enjoy the best experience possible. Part of the fun of travel is letting things loose and unfold and being open to opportunities that come up.
  • Coordinate with a travel agent when you're physically challenged. The infrastructure that you can find in Mexico is not comparable to that of other countries. Thus, several of its establishments are not physically challenged-friendly.

A lot of Mexico's places do not have water purification systems. That's why, too, it's encouraged that you stay in a hotel such as the Grupo Mayan, since it has the facility to give you drinkable and clean water.
  • Practice general safety precautions, As a tourist always be aware of thieves and pickpockets. Always be aware of your belongings and you loved ones, don't trust anyone and don't at any point share all the details of your travel plan.
  • Use sunscreen, sunburn early in your trip can make you trip uncomfortable for the duration. Sun is usually very strong in Mexico, so it is advised to use sunscreen on any exposed skin, even if you're not on the beach. It is said that, you can get a sun burn even on an overcast day.

Mexico is a safe destination if you head for the popular spots; stay away from the outskirts where it can be rather dangerous. If you follow these tips and learn from the locals where to go and avoid, you should have a very enjoyable trip.
