ISRAEL'S TOURIST ATTRACTION PLACES

Israel has its own unique beautiful places that are a good spot tourist’s sight-seeing. There’s no shortage of fascinating tourist sites for the first time traveler to Israel. Any city you want to visit, there is really something that will make you awe. A visit to Israel will most likely bring you back to the past because of its well – preserved historical sites.

Here are some the tourist attraction places in Israel:

  • Mount Tabor – it has been a significant fortress since ancient times. It is located in Lower Galilee, at the eastern end of the Jezreel Valley, west of the Sea of Galilee, in Israel. This hill is known as the place where the transfiguration of Jesus too place.
  • Nazareth – it is the biggest Arab city in Israel and the capital of the northern section of the country. This is the place where Jesus grew up making the city one of more than a few Christian pilgrimage sites in the Holy Land.
  • Dead Sea – it has some of the most salty water on earth that is about ten times saltier than the other seas or oceans, giving it buoyancy that makes it possible to float. As much as 40% of its water is dissolving salts. The Dead Sea is totally landlocked and it gets saltier with increasing depth. It is also the lowest point on earth.
  • Jerusalem – the most holy place in the world and where all the branches of the Israeli government are situated in Jerusalem, including Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, and the Supreme Court. Jerusalem is Israel's official capital city and is sacred to three major religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. It is encircled by imposing stone walls that date to the Ottoman period and contain within it such holy sites as the Western Wall - the most visited site in Israel and one holy to Jews - Dome of the Rock and Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
  • Galilee – it is commonly known as the “land flowing with milk and honey”. The Galilee is inextricably linked with the life of Jesus Christ, in particular the Sea of Galilee. It is also one of the most historical places in Israel as it took part in the life of Jesus.

Israel is a country with a history that stretches back thousands of years. As it has its own historical places, Israel itself is considered as a great historical place.
