Travel tips – A women’s guide on travelling light in the tropics.

Travelling has been one of the most hassle way of rejuvenating ourselves and be free from our usual hectic schedules at work and sadly sometimes even in our own home. Well, this shouldn’t be the case. Travelling should be done often to relieve our mind from stress and enjoy the sun every once in a while. Often problems comes from travelling is that sometimes we bring things we don’t really need during our trip and sometimes we left out those that we need the most.

So, to make your trip a less hassle and enjoy travelling light, here are the things you need to bring.

  • Clothes

What to wear depends on where your location will be. Wearing short shorts and a plain white shirt will do. Not only that it is comfortable, but it also gives off that laid back vibes you have stored within you and helps you mingle easily with the country folks as well specially if you’re asking some directions. You can also bring a dress to enjoy the romantic view of at night if you decide to go site-seeing, anda coat to ease the chilly breeze, and most importantly a bikini to show off your curves if you’re planning to go to the beach.

  • Sun block

It is a must for us women to protect our skin from harsh rays of the sun. So, wearing a sun block with spf 30 would surely prevent it from happening plus we can enjoy outdoors more without worrying of darkened skin.

  • Personal hygiene

Thought staying in a hotel is more convenient, but let’s face it, it can be too costly. So if you are going to travel bag-packer’s style, it is a must to bring your own necessities with you. Never forget to bring these things: Hair-tie, toothbrush, toothpaste, napkins (we will never know), and a deodorant spray. You can also bring other things necessary for your hygiene making sure they fit and also remember to put all your necessities in a separate pouch so that you can easily bring them anywhere.

  • Cellular phone, charger, and power banks

Communication is a must especially if you’re going out in an un-familiar place. Being able to contact your family and friends can help you find your way out when we least expect it.

  • Plastic bags

Bringing a plastic bag can separate your soiled clothes from the clean ones and at the same time it is useful for the wet ones.

  • Extra pouch

If you’re going to stroll down the streets and enjoy the luxury of meeting new people and seeing the things the place has to offer, bringing a small pouch can be handy to keep your money, cellphones etc. instead of bringing your back pack wherever you go.

Travelling should be fun and enjoyable. It should provide you a whole new perspective of life free yourself from the shackles of stressors. It should focus more in discovering yourself no matter what the situation brings and it can only be done if you pack light and pack wise.
