Owning land earlier in time was through dominating different places. A wide range of power is measured by the size of area you colonized. This is what happened to Saint Kitts formally known as Saint Christopher Island, the patron of travelers. A place unlikely to be discovered was made possible by Christopher Columbus in 1493 which made me think that the island was named after him. He actually gave the name “Saint Kitts.” It is a cute nickname for Christopher. I really do not know.
Saint Kitts is the last railway in the West Indies. The uncovering of the railways to Saint Kitts is the beginning of more railroads. It might sound dreamy - conversely, big things start from dreams.
The place has demonstrated, through its natural resources, its real purpose. It started as a sugarcane capital with its fertile soil. All its inhabitants, including the wildlife has benefited from it. The business is strong on this one. Originally a place of no worth turned into a source of income.
How did the rail tracks come to life?
To be able to sell their means of income, they need to export it to different places for other people to use. And as it is, our basic need in the kitchen and on the table, sugar has made its way from places to places. The people from Saint Kitts built the rail tracks as a mode of transportation for their dreams to be on the way. In a few years, Saint Kitts turned to be the Caribbean’s richest British Colony with 68 sugar plantations in the island. The minute beginning made a leap of fortune. The luck did not last long as the production costs rise and the market led to low prices. It never ended there. An “Aha!” moment woke the leaders of Saint Kitts. If they could not export sugar then they might import tourists. History will leave tracks through exhibiting the story to new people. The people who never experienced the voyage will admire the story of the waves. And so, the transformation began. The trains were transformed into passenger type bunks and the faith in humanity was restored. Many tourists flocked from different nests and gave time to witness what Saint Kitts must be.
The ride on the way is slow. Intentionally adjusted the speed at 8 kph for travelers to notice the obvious – that travel is not after all a crazy ride to arrive at the destination. Along the way, there is an abundance of television episodes to watch. The greens are mountains and trees and the blues are oceans and skies. Saint Kitts is a sugar factory that leaves sweet bliss to its wanderers.
