Copenhagen is the capital of the happiest country of the world, Denmark. But they are not only known for that. It is also the home for numerous iconic designers, the statue of The Little Mermaid - although not located in Copenhagen, the wondrous, second oldest amusement park Tivoli Gardens, LEGO and many more. They are also a nation in the European continent that has stick to their own Kroner currency and rejected the euro altogether. Even their decorations during Christmas season are very tasteful.

- It is officially reported that the Danes are the happiest people of the world, according to the 2013 World Happiness Report conducted by the United Nations. Denmark scored 7.6, beating more than 150 countries around the world on a global happiness scale from 0 to ten.
- Cycling to work is not uncommon but it is considered second class to other places, except in Copenhagen where almost everyone pedals to commute to work. Cyclists rule the streets of Copenhagen in which both pedestrians and cars should take extra care as they cycle with great speed. Cycling is considered the best way to explore the city and the good thing is that you can take your bikes with you in trains. There is public transport though and very efficient at that. It normally takes fifteen minutes to travel by metro from airport to city and the trains do not stop running, meaning it operates 24/7.
- The city boasts a lot of restaurants graded by Michelin, numbering 15 and more. There are a number of Noma chefs that have setup their own with menus that are equally stimulating. The new Nordic restaurant has just been named as the Best Restaurant in the world 3 times already, which is the Noma, where most of the Noma chefs came and made their own. The Danes take their food seriously.
- Green loving citizens will love living in Copenhagen as it is the capital where almost everything is on alternative energy source. Take for example the electric buses, citizens who recycle things like crazy, shops that sell clothes made from organic bamboo and clean harbors are just some of the products that make the city very green.
