Switzerland – A land straight from heaven

Heaven on earth?

If heaven is what you are looking for, you have got to visit the wonderful country of Switzerland.
Choosing a best picture in this magnificent country will surely give you a headache. I mean everywhere you look, from left to right, up above the blue skies to the crystal like rivers will give you what your eyes have been craving for. From its breath taking tulip fields, to its luscious white and green mountains, this has got to be the lost garden of Eden.
Because of the people's value for discipline, it is not surprising that they can preserve such beauty.

Long before other countries became aware of their surroundings, the Swiss already had everything figured out. Located at the east side of Switzerland, in the canton of Graubünden the very first and National park in the country was proclaimed on 1914.

The Park known as the Swiss National Park is best for people who enjoy long walks while being amazed by the beauty of nature. This hidden paradise had been made possible thanks to the efforts put by its people who have done their part to preserve and give back to nature.

Due to its abundant forests and unharmed land, animals of all types have been comfortably dwelling in some parts of the land. Occupants mainly red deer, which do not usually lurk around with humans, can be spotted easily. As well as some magnificent creatures such as an ibex can be spotted galloping towards luscious forest.

Strict compliance to the rules has been set forth to conserve this marvelous land.
Here are the 10 commandments that visitors should follow at all times:

  1. Thou shall not leave any markings. Leave it to the professionals.
  2. Thou shall not throw your garbage anywhere. If you need to throw your trash so bad, just throw it inside your pockets.
  3. Thou shall not steal. Anything that belongs in the park stays in the park.
  4. Thou shall not bring other animals. There are plenty of animals here so we do not need another extra. E.g. dogs whether with or without a leash.
  5. Thou shall not bathe in any part of liquid body. You have bathrooms back in your hotel.
  6. Thou shall not make fire
  7. Thou shall not overstay. Please, the park is not a hotel.
  8. Thou shall not do any type of sports that may harm the land. E.g. cycling, skiing, or flying of anything in any way.
  9. Thou shall not disturb Mother Nature.
  10. Thou shall stick to the rules or we will let the ibex do whatever it wants to do with you.

Okay so maybe the 10th commandment was just a made up one, but then again it is still better to respect and follow the rules for the generations ahead of us.

Still inside the park, you can find Hotel ParcNaziunal. Embraced by rich green grass full of beautiful creatures such as the red deer, this hotel will keep you relaxed after the long day of strolling down the hills. Another place that you can feel pampered is the ChamannaCluoza.

This cabin is in the right location to take a glimpse of Val Cluozza trail and enjoy luscious pines outlined on the side.
The Swiss are dead serious in striving to protect their land. You can see it from how they have been implementing the order just by observing the town to the cycling trails in which, signs are everywhere in the area to provide directions for the tourists. You can also observe it from the way they have kept their country as organized as possible. Seeing what they have become, it is a good example that people as we are we everything can be done as long as we work hard for it. At the same time, cooperation is the key strength a country needs to make things seem impossible possible.
