When you’re on a business trip or travelling, you should always be wary and alert every time, whenever or wherever you are. You should always put your guard on for those filthy thieves, pick-pockets, scams or any mishaps you can encounter along the way. Guard your luggage
Always keep an eye on your luggage. Never leave it on your sight. If you are travelling by air, make sure you have your name tag and contact number on it. Have a safety locks on your luggage.

Avoid too much luggage
If you are on a short trip, try to avoid bringing too much luggage. You will realized that bringing too much luggage when you are travelling alone is a no, no. As much as possible, try only bringing your essentials.  Bring only the necessary things essential for your trips. Bring few clothes and a pair of shoes that can goes along with all your clothes.

Secure your documents
When you are travelling outside the country, it is better to put your documents in a safe place. Placing it inside a zip lock will keep your documents safe from tearing, crumpling and protected from any sorts of damages. Zip it up before placing it inside your bag.

Don’t talk to strangers
It sounds too childish but it is also applicable to adults travelling alone. If you are travelling in an unfamiliar places it is better not to talk to someone who approaches you. Never discloses anything to a person you’ve just met.

Research before you Travel
Before travelling, a little research on the place you are going. Search your hotel, hospitals, banks, police stations or any information about the place that will be helpful to your travel. You can even try to search or learn their language, their culture and their religion. There are countries that are very strict about their culture and religion and their laws.

Health Safety
It is very important to know the place you are visiting. You should also be wary about the issues of health safety. There are places that are at high risk to different kinds of viruses and diseases like Zika virus, Corona Virus, Ebola Virus, Malaria, SARS, Rabies and a lot more. Better avoid going to this places. If you cannot avoid going to this places, check your health services if there are any vaccines available for this kind of sickness.
