Restaurants In Paris

Paris is indeed a fine city. Two of its undeniable attributes are class and sophistication. The best way to enjoy the good life in Paris is to splurge in your dining experience. There are many fine dining restaurants in the city and all of these are world renown. You simply cannot miss the chance to dine here while you are in town. A good way to complement a fine dining experience is to have your own place in Paris. Enjoy the romance of the city by staying in a vacation apartment rental near the center of the city where Parisian life is at its best. Here are some popular restaurants in Paris that you can visit.

  • The first restaurant on the list is a budget option called Restaurant Chartier. Restaurant Chartier looks like a big open hall which is very busy on weekends; it has an old elegant feeling to it with big wooden staircases and antique lamps. You can expect to pay around €15 - €21 for a 3 course meal and if you want a bottle of wine then expect pay an extra €10 - €12. The dishes are mainly traditional and include snails, beef tartar and profiteroles covered in chocolate sauce!
  • Spring , Based in a renovated 17th-century house and owned by American chef Daniel Rose, Spring is a fantastic 'break from the norm' in a city that can sometimes rely too much on it's identity, and not it's values. Daniel has been providing cutting edge culinary cuisine to his loyal band of Parisian followers for some time now, so expect to book ahead to grab a table, as this place is popular. Proof that you don't need to a local to make waves on the French cooking circuit.
  • Le Violoin d'Ingres, which offers top chefs and a vast wine list. The average price for a meal here is 70 Euro and bookings are essential. At just less than half the price is Chaumette, also one of the most awarded restaurants in the city. It has a less strict dress code than many other upscale Paris restaurants and bookings are not always necessary, but wise.
  • Haute Cuisine restaurant, but you need a good bank balance, as this type of meal has elaborate preparations and presentations of the delicacies in small portions and can be found at some of the best hotels and plush restaurants.

These are just some of the restaurants in Paris that you can visit, and if you want to know more you can read more articles about Paris restaurants.
