Oman is the prime tourist destination of the Gulf, and Oman luxury holidays are becoming increasingly popular. One of the most fascinating sights to behold on an Oman holiday is the gigantic sea turtles that come to lay their eggs on Oman's beaches. The Turtle Nature Reserves are located in the Niyabat Ras Al Hadd and Ras Al Jinz, in the eastern corner of the Arabian Peninsula. These magnificent animals make their way to the beaches of Sur to lay their eggs. You can watch the turtles, and their young scuttling behind them, laying their eggs at night and returning to the beach in the morning. It is a phenomenal occurrence to behold, and would be incredible to include on any Oman holiday.
