Then categorizing the great mountain castles, the Sandaiyamashiro list featuring the Iwamura Castle, Takatori Castle, and the Bitchu Matsuyama Castle. For the festivals being celebrated annually, here goes the Sandaisai, and on the list, the Gion Matsuri, tejin Matsuri, and the Kanda and Sanno Matsuri. Also has the list of top three festivals in certain cities such as in Kyoto which has the Gion Matsuri, Aoi Matsuri, and the Jidai Matsuri. The city of tohoku has the Nebuta Matsuri, kanto matsuri, and Tanabata matsuri.
Country’s top three gardens are the Kairakuen, Mito, Ibakiri have 3,000 plum trees, The Kenroken, Kanazawa, Ishikawa, the Maeda family’s private garden that was opened to public in 1871. The Korakuen Okayama outside Okayama Castle.
Japan’s Top three in mountain category features the Mt. Fuji- the most famous tourist spot in Japan for its cone shape. The Mt. Haku said to be one of the holiest mountains in Japan, the Mt. Tate- holds the title of the tallest mountain in Hida Range, also one of the holiest mountains found in the country.
Japan’s top three festive are the Gion Matsuri, celebrated every 17th of July with beautifully designed floats. The Tenjin Matsuri, one of the oldest being celebrated every 24th and 25th of July and the Kanda and Sanno Matsuri, the largest parade held in Japan with participants wearing colorful costumes that plays a tribute to the country’s history.
