Secure the child’s personal belongings – Bringing just enough number of clothes for the travel days is a no, no. That is why you have to always bring extra clothes and diapers to make your child look presentable and comfortable.
Secure an emergency kit – It is very basic and essential to always bring along with you a medicine kit which contains all necessary medicines and wound care materials. You will never predict what you and your child may feel during the travel, so it would be best to be ready at all times.
The choice of toys to bring – Bringing in their favorite toys are important for the toddlers to have fun most especially if long hours of travel is expected. However, not all toys are allowed to be brought. Just bring those that are of regular to small size and do not bring a bunch of them. Two to three is enough to entertain the child, just see to it that these are safe for the child and to be bought onboard.
Child restraint – Utilizing child restraints are also important for the safety and welfare of the child most especially if riding a plane is part of the itinerary. The purpose of having this is to protect the child from injury and any untoward incidents.
Take some precautions and be careful – If you are to think of it, it is very difficult to manage a two to three-year-old child for they do not know to behave properly yet. Proper supervision and having a keen eye on them is very essential for you not to lose contact and to keep them safe always. It would be best for you to have them wear an identification band with their complete name, your complete name and contact number written on it for this is very useful in case of emergency.
