How to Have An Enjoyable Trip

When you travel by air, land or sea, you are bound to meet some things that may ruin your trip, unless you allow it to. Most travelers prefer to go on vacations outside their country because they know they will be able to experience things that are not seen where they used to live. But before anything else, when you plan to travel overseas, learn at least a few things so that you will have a more enjoyable trip.

Although rarely ever happens, you are bound to meet a person who loves to hog the spaces inside the aircraft, whether the seats are fully occupied or not. As you have the right for the seats that were given to you, assert the territory that belongs to you, according to your airline ticket, to your seatmate if you see signs that they are trying to hog your space as well. This includes the under-seat space and place the armrests down. If your seatmate is large, you need to be considerate about this and alert the flight attendant if you wish to change seats. Do not do any passive-aggressive approaches to your seatmate as this will only escalate the problem. You should not be greedy as well. Middle seat passengers have rights on both inner armrests, unless there are a pair of armrests for each seat.

When you are about to your leave the hotel that you are staying at and just shocked to see the amount you need to pay, you just learned your lesson. Before you booked your hotel, heed their warnings. If they have informed you on fees if you use some of their facilities, it is your responsibility to pay them. You can also use your loyalty saying that you are a member of the program offered by the hotel or you are already a regular customer to them. Never accept the fees placed on you that are written in fine print. The prices you need to pay should be clearly presented to their guests. Never be afraid of standing for your own rights. If the reception desk cannot help you, call for the guest services director or the general manager to let them handle the affairs.

When it concerns hotel management and that you want to set things straight, it is always best to stay calm and negotiate the matters peacefully in order to avoid your trip go bad.
