Fall In Love With Hawaii’s City Paradise in Honolulu

When we think of “paradise” we often think of Hawaii. Beaches, volcanoes, and coral reefs are just some of the things that await visitors to the United States. The state is the only U.S. state that’s located in the Pacific. It boasts of a unique everyday life that includes various fun activities. It’s a very relaxed environment. Here are some of the most enjoyable activities to enjoy in Hawaii:

#1 Ancient Palaces
Ancient palaces include the Ioani palace, which King David Kalakaua constructed over 130 years ago, in 1882. At the time the king followed many of the Victorian world’s diplomatic protocols. During that era the palace was considered modern and rich due to its construction. Visitors at the palace can take a tour that’s led by a docent, or a self-guided tour. Also, you can enjoy a free tour on the palace ground during the daytime.

#2 World War II Sites
The Pearl Harbor/USS Amaziona Memorial is one of various WWII tourist attractions in Hawaii. You can observe the infamous attack that prompted the U.S. to join World War II. At the Arizona Memorial Visitor Center, you can even view film footage that was taken in 1941. Another activity worth doing is boarding the USS Arizona Memorial, where over 1,100 sailors and marines died during the attack on Pearl Harbor.

#3 Art Museums
The Honolulu Museum of Art is one example. This amazing museum dates back to 1927. It has a classical exterior that’s airy and open. There are also various galleries that branch off into groups of courtyards with water fountains and gardens. You should plan to spend a few hours in the museum. You could even combine your visit to the museum with a lunch at the Honolulu Museum of Arts Café. Several lovely exhibits are available at the museum, showing the various cultures that comprise modern Hawaii.

But aside from that, you can also visit in Honolulu zoo, to let your kids or your whole family interact with animals, Hanauma Bay or Diamond Head for those who love to see the sea waters, or you can also try to visit the Shangri La to feel the beach relaxation or the popular Beach Park in Ala Moana or you can check out the Manoa Falls. Without a doubt, these places show that Hawaii deserves to be referred to as “paradise.”
