The Canadian national Parks has been the country’s area of representative when it comes to tourist destinations. Canada is blessed of having so many spectacular destinations located all over the nation’s territories and 13 provinces. Its origin is in Alberta which started in 1885. Followed by the Wood buffalo national park, Watertown and the Elk Island. The national park service has the goal of creating a system to protect the country’s distinct natural regions. As the running administration body for that specific system, the Parks Canada already developed plans for almost 39 regions it wishes to represent. The system now is almost more than 60% as reported. The system has a primary purpose of protecting the park’s ecological integrity then is to allow the people to explore the beauty of it, and to experience what Canada has to offer. There were feasibility studies done and found to possibly creating some more national parks on several areas. Here below is a list and definition of the Canadian National Parks.

The Auyuittuq National Park- it is where you will witness the granite mountains meet the glaciers and polar ice, the land that never melts, Canada’s shields highest peak, come and experience the beauty of the majestic Arctic. The Jasper National Park- found in Alberta Rockies, a UNESCO World heritage site for being the country’s largest rocky mountain parks. The Banff National Park- this was the one that gave birth to the National Park system. The Elk Island National Park- has the highest hoofed mamma density in the world. The Yoho National Park- The country’s second protected area. The Glacier National Park- protects the stands of hemlock and old growth cedar. The Gros Morne National Park – serves as the protector of the Newfoundland culture, also a UNESCO heritage site.

Canadian National Parks are having the role of the preservation of all flora and fauna organisms, creating a sustainable development to each and every creature that ensures the safety and the nourishment of those. They are the ones authorized to police the public visiting and experiencing the sites. Laws must be implemented in every way not to harm any living inhabitants. There are specific policies being implemented in every wildlife. There is a thing called discovery pass that is being required in order to enter a certain site depending in every choices you would like to experience. These Parks are being protected by the federal legislation for all the activities using the natural resources such as forestry, mining, hunting, and agricultural businesses are prohibited.
