One of the things that can keep your travels disastrous when you react to situation in a violent manner, especially during long flights. If you travel and board a plane that will make you sit there for more than 3 hours, you should observe proper etiquettes as this will not only be beneficial for you but also for the ones seated next to you, in front and the back of you.
- When you miss your flight, prepare a rebooking fee. You will be charged an additional fee in most ticket class. What you should not do is waiting to alert the airline that you missed. The sooner you call the airline carrier, the more chances you will be booked to the next flight, depending if there is still available space for extra passengers. If everything else fails, expect to book onto another airline carrier if you are in a hurry.
- There are times that your neighbors at the hotel you are staying at are very noisy during the night. If you can no longer take it, call the manager that is on duty that time. They will be able to dispatch the security and will notify you when your noisy neighbors are going to check out. There are hotels that expect to have guests that have no mercy with their other neighbors so you can ask the manager for earplugs. Things you should avoid on doing in this situation is by taking the matters by yourself. The hotel is the one responsible for all the guests' behaviors while still in the building so leave it up to them. You should also not demand your noisy neighbor to move to another room. It may be better that you switch to another room where it is quieter than the one you took.
- When you do happen to order a wine that you do not like, you can tell the staff about it. It is normal for guests to feel overwhelmed of the list of wines and sommeliers but there is no harm if you try. You can also take a picture of the label and add it to the list of wines that you are not going to take in the future.
Never hesitate to speak up to the hotel management if you have something that you do not like during your stay but the one thing you should avoid is by taking everything personally and start to get violent.
