Destination Places for the Winter Season

Is the weather getting gloomy and gray? Is it becoming chilly? Maybe you are one of those people who are not too fond of the winter season and miss feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin? Besides, shoveling the snow from your garage regularly during the snowy season does not seem as appealing as taking a vacation somewhere sunny. So why don't you pack up your bags and head on to the warmer places this winter season to cure your winter blues. But the question is where should you go to? Here's a list of places that you can go to.

Would you like to take a hike in a rain forest? Then head on to Costa Rica. Costa Rica has a vibrant rainforest, wildlife that's diverse, beaches and locals that are very laid back. For beach bums, there are various beaches for you to explore. But if you want more of an adventure then head on to the lodges in the wilderness where there is no internet access and room service. But then again, the wildlife is great so you will probably be too busy to even bother checking your email or any of your social media pages. Do not forget to take photos though because this is not something that you get to experience everyday!

Bora Bora is another great place to enjoy the sun. If your goal is to enjoy and relax yourself then you have come to the right place. You can rent a bike and explore the island at your own pace. Enjoy the lagoon in Bora Bora or just sunbathe in the deck of the bungalow you are renting. Visit Bora Bora Lagoonarium to check out the underwater life of the place and head on to Vaitape for a taste of Bora Bora's local culture. And do not forget to see Mount Otemanu as well.

If you want to experience the best the world has to offer, then Lake Tahoe is your destination. You can go swimming, skiing, golfing, shopping, party at nightclubs and dine at great restaurants all in one place. Days can be spent hiking on the Sierra Nevada Mountains, ski at Squaw Valley and kayak in the Emerald Bay. Whatever it is that you are into it, you are bound to find something to keep you entertained at Lake Tahoe.

If you happen to be a snow lover and outdoor enthusiast, then head on to Whistler. Whistler Blackcomb Mountain is great for those who love to ski and snowboard while the Whistler Sliding Center and Whitler Bungee are for the adrenaline junkies. But if you prefer staying indoors to enjoy a book or two or maybe learn more about the history, then the Whistler Public Library and Whistler Museum is perfect for you. There are a lot of things at Whistler that will keep you entertained and it doesn't matter if you are visiting with your friends or your family.

Whichever place you have chosen to go to, remember that vacations are best spent with people close to your heart.
