Deirah, the northern part of Dubai, and Jumeirah has the same scenic beauty as of the southern part of Dubai, the Bur Dubai. It also offers great tourist attractions.
Deira is surrounded by the Persian Gulf, Sharjah and Dubai Creek. It has developed much since its early days with the development of both overhead and underground metro tracks, innumerable shopping malls springing up, and modern buildings and towers currently under construction within the area.
Jumeirah literally means "beautiful. It is a coastal residential area in Dubai, composed of low private houses. It is divided into three sections and has both expensive and large detached properties as well as more modest town houses built in a variety of architectural styles. The area is popular with expatriates working in the emirate and is familiar to many tourists visiting Dubai.

- Jumeirah Mosque – it is one of the most beautiful and fine examples of modern Islamic culture. The beauty of Mosque is seen at its best after sundown. It is one of the most visited and photographed sights among tourist s and locals. Jumeirah Mosque has become renowned as the focal point of “Open doors”.
- Wild Wadi Waterpark – it has many exciting rides for all ages especially for children to enjoy. The Wild Wadi Waterpark also has the popular almost free-fall ride, the Jumeirah Sceirah.
- Heritage House – this is where some of the wealthy merchants reside. The house is built like an old bastakiya building built from coral and gypsum.
- Al-Ahmadiya School – it is Dubai’s first school which was established in 1912. It was set-up by Sheikhs and the building architecture is extremely admirable.
- Dhow Wharfage – it was used in the Indian Ocean and Arabic sea as a wooden sailing vessel. It carries exporting products such as electrical goods.
- Deira Covered Souk – it is a perfect place for most women to visit and just feels like they are at home. The aromas, the flavors, and the sights of this place are quite intoxicating.
- Gold Souk – one of the largest retail gold markets in the world. It sells everything from ingots to intricately worked jewellery at a very affordable price.
